For a long time, I’ve been very interested in apps. I’m not talking about the app store games you download on your phone.

I’m talking about apps that truly bring value and add to your life.

These apps, for me at least, tend to be “Productivity Apps”. Productivity Apps generally claim to save you time or make a process in your life easier by supplementing it with technology.

A great example of this is to-do list applications. Before the internet, people would manage their to-do list in a daily planner or notepad or with sticky notes. However, with a device in our pocket that has one million times more memory than the Apollo computer had in RAM, we can leverage this advance in technology to save a TON of time with managing out to-do lists.

If you want to check out a biblical way to manage your time and to-do list, this book changed my life.

As fun as to-do lists apps are… they aren’t the only apps that pique my interest.

Oh boy, here we go…

I also love to explore calendar apps, note-taking apps, browsers, password managers, website builders, automation platforms, no-code tools, low-code tools, budget apps, weather apps… seriously WEATHER apps? — yeah. I know.

… email apps, messaging apps, gps apps, flight radars, you name it.

It’s a fun hobby. It’s also a running joke with the people I work with. And yes, I am subscribed to Product Hunt.

In fact, my most recent find was on their 2023 Best Products of the Year.

It’s an app called Bento.

Think about it as a Linktree, but more beautiful.

I made a personal page and liked it so much that I’m now sending all traffic from my personal website to it.
