I’ve been using Things3 as my To-Do List app for almost a year now. And I wanted to share some of the reasons I’ve stayed with it over my previous love ToDoist. These are sort of randomly though of and added as I’ve gotten more and more used to using this fantastic app in my workflow.

    • Just start typing and it searches EVERYTHING. Tasks, Projects, Tags, Areas, etc…

    • Keyboard Shortcuts

    • Nested Tags

    • Filter Today & Other View by Tags

  • Design

    • Simplicity

    • Delightful

    • Not too much going on

  • Sync

    • Zero issues, Device-first

  • Bonus Reasons

    • It’s just delightful to use, including mobile

    • Other applications are solving problems whereas Things is just delightful

      • ie. Superhuman: gorgeous, fast, functional, solves a gross problem — email.

      • Things has all the same checks but doesn’t have a gross problem to solve. It just makes it delightful
