It’s been a little while since I’ve sat down and updated this blog.
To be fair, a lot has happened in the last 2 months.
-
Served on a young mens youth retreat where the Lord showed up so clearly. I’m beyond thankful for the deep relationships I’ve developed through ministry.
-
Tried 2 different to-do list apps because I’m obsessed with trying new apps. And I finally found one that replaced my long-standing app ToDoist.
-
Loaded up with the wife at 37 weeks pregnant to visit Arkansas and witness the Total Solar Eclipse 2024… it was BEYOND worth it.
-
Finished my first draft of a Redeeming Your Time sermon I’ll be giving later in the year.
-
Got a coach teaching me how to run Facebook Ads, which has been a fascinating skillset to learn.
-
Started using DataBox to build KPI dashboards for various areas of the business. It’s super powerful and has already helped in decision making.
-
Took my 2 year old on a few daddy-daughter dates. These have held some of my favorite moments this year so far.
-
Met up with Jordan Raynor in ATL. It’s always a blast hanging out with Jordan and other members of the Mere Christians Community.
-
My wife and I welcomed our second daughter into the world. It was the birth we’d been praying for. A VBAC at home with ZERO complications.
Needless to say, God has been so good to my family and I throughout March, April, and May.
I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2024 has to hold even thought I can’t believe we’re almost halfway done with it.
Growing up, adults would always say “the older you get, the faster time flies”. I never knew how much I would experience this firsthand.
Lord, please allow me to slow down and soak it all in.
